Bolney Bubbly English Sparkling - Bolney Wine Estate
|GRAPE CHARDONNAY ||ALCOHOL BY VOLUME: 12.5%|
|VINTAGE: NV ||REGION: SUSSEX, UK|
The French are getting worried about English Sparkling Wine and with examples like the Bolney Bubbly we can certainly see why. This is a traditional method sparkling wine (made in the exact same way as Champagne) with all the flavours you'd expect from a premium Champagne - citrus, honeysuckle, peaches, cream and brioche on the finish. Simply delicious.
The Bolney Estate is located in rural Sussex, 14 miles from the south coast and has been running since the early '70s. The team is now headed by wine maker Sam Linter who took the reins from her parents, founders Rodney and Janet Pratt.
A delicious wine to pair with canapes and party food, this is also a great match for desserts, and fittingly, good old British fish and chips!
